181 Beechgate Crescent - Subsoil Drainage

11/22/2013

Ramtar Construction were recently approached by ShreeProp, a large Durban based property development group, to install subsoil drainage in a new warehouse facility in the Southgate Business Park. The property was continually flooded with groundwater and a solution was needed to ensure that the layerworks for the pavements at the rear of the building would maintain their integrity. Ramtar Construction installed innovative flownet cut-off drains on the perimeter of the building and are currently installing a herringbone system of subsoil drains over the rest of the area. The rain over the past months has not helped and site conditions are challenging to say the least!

It looks like a complicated task. I guess, that I would like to know something on the way you've decided this problem.

Hmm, interesting. My parents asked me to find some info how to make a Drainage. Now I'm surfing net for the second day and I find it super interesting thing. I think I will be helping not only with finding info, but also with building it.

Such difficult conditions in the construction have a plus, it is that everything is revealed in the process of work and thus can be solved before the end of construction.
